Fashion Ignores
Safety, comfort, and common sense.
Fashion should be fun, a little quirky and different.

Which explains my outfit choice for today...
A Random T-Shirt &  Fashion Dress Pants!

If Fashion Ignores
Safety, comfort, and common sense.
Shouldn't Life?

My sister recently left her "comfy basic tee" for an "uncomfy itchy sweater."

About 4 months ago her family left jobs, family, and friends.
Picked up their belongings and moved to Hollywood, Flordia,
to begin a Praise Chapel Church,
to live a Random Fashioned life.

Which many would NOT consider to be
Safe, comfortable, and of common sense.

I spent 22 years of my life growing up beside my sister.
Now she is miles and miles away.
At times I wonder how great and happy life would be if she was still in Cali.
Then I remember those souls God has already touched through her
and wonder how unhappy and lost life would be for them.

Although I still wish she was just a car drive away,
It is amazing to see the Lord's plan unfold each day.

Erno Rubik the creator of the Rubik Cube said...

"It was wonderful, to see how, after only a few turns,
the colors became mixed, apparently in
RaNdOm fAShIoN."

Our lives are like a Rubik Cube,
Some days are blue, some days are red, some days are green.

When our hands are turning the cube, our life is
all mixed up.
But when we let God's hands turn the cube,
after a few turns,
the colors in our life will
all match up.

Real Discoveries Come From Chaos

Wednesday 01/20/2010

"Real Discoveries Come From Chaos"

If I had a T-Shirt with the words "Nothing To Wear" today would be the day I'd sport it.
This dress? Nope.
This top? Nope.
I scattered through the pile of clothing that flooded my bed, only to discover my BlackBerry and the time screamed "Your going to be late!!!"

Adrianna think quick! I slipped on the black cotton skirt that sat on my piano bench, the black-tee thrown like trash on the floor, the striped cardigan that I dug up from underneath my bed, and the grey knee-high boots that I had only worn once, and then I swore I'd never wear them again.

Although my room was chaotic, I managed to stand in front of the mirror pleased with my discovery.

When I left my disasterous room this morning, as funny as it may sound, God brought me to remember the earthquake in Haiti. Even though it may be fading from the magazines, newspapers, and television, I should never let it fade from my heart and prayers.

To those in Haiti and those affected by the tragedy...
Today I pray you will somehow manage to stand in front of the mirror,
look beyond the chaos, and be pleased with the
real discovery.

Under the trash, mess, and chaos in Haiti, some will pick up old treasures thrown like trash on the floor, some will dig up family members both dead and alive, and some will discover their "grey knee-high boots worn only once, that they swore they'd never wear again." Jesus.

A Dress in the Rain.

Tuesday 01/19/2010

"If you can Dance in the rain, you might as well Dress in the rain."

Today I woke up 45 mintues later than my alarm time (I totally blame it on the rain). Who in their right mind wants to put on a dress and heels on a cold day like this???

As ironic as it sounds, I did! Except I was in my right mind. Yes, I put on "a dress in the rain" and heels...in ADDition to that, I warmed it up with leggings and a leather jacket.
